D14 Productions
I’m part of a creative collective called D14 Productions. We are just getting started, so not much has happened yet, but one thing that we needed to kick us off was a sizzle reel for the company. After watching the work I had done for Neil Payne’s demo reel, D14 boss Dandy Noel asked me to cut the D14 reel. What I loved about doing this reel is that Dandy literally gave me complete control and freedom on the project. Even though its her company, she wanted to see what I would do with it. Noelene suggested I use RJD2′s “The Horror” which really set the pace and tone for the reel. I love vintage, old-timey, photos and images, so I used a variety in designing and animating the titles. They strangely work with the music. It was fun designing and editing this reel, and I look forward to what’s in store for D14.
